I’ve mentioned some of the MS Office competitors, but there are also some great online tools for editing photos. Sometimes, Photoshop can just be overkill.

This was on my list of to-do’s, but Sean P. Aune over at Mashable has done in his article called, “20 Great Online Image Editors” in which her reviews web based photo editors.

This blog will explore the thoughts and ideas of browser as a platform (BAAP). The implication is that potentially, the software based OS (Windows, MAC, etc), can go away and will be replace by a Browser based OS. We already see the trend with applications such as Google Docs , and SlideRocket that are replacements for Microsoft Office. We will review products and applications that are trying to replace desktop applications.
